The EverVows Promise

    EverVows Couple Promise: Terms & Conditions

    Last updated: 2 November 2026

    In short

    • If your EverVows planner cancels, stops replying, closes her business, or does not turn up on your wedding day, we take over.
    • We find you a new vetted planner and brief her on everything done so far.
    • You pay her only what was left on your original contract. If you paid for work that was never done, we pay your new planner for it, up to the commission we earned on your wedding.
    • If no planner can take over within 14 days, we pay you that commission and give you our dated record to support your refund claim.
    • It is free, it is our promise, not the planner's, and it does not cover vendor money.

    Hiring a planner abroad means trusting someone you will mostly meet on a screen, with money that is hard to get back. So we stand behind every planner we introduce. This is our promise, not the planner's, and it costs you nothing. We never earn more from your wedding because a planner let you down: the commission we earned goes toward putting it right first.

    Why the risk stays small

    You pay your planner in stages, each tied to work you can see done, and your vendor money goes to your vendors, with receipts. Before you sign, ask any planner how her payments are staged and how vendor money reaches the vendor, and pay deposits by card where you can.

    The full terms

    1. Who it covers

    Couples who booked an EverVows planner through EverVows: we introduced you, and you signed your planner's contract after that introduction. The Promise is free. You never pay EverVows for it, or for anything else.

    2. When it applies

    Your EverVows planner:

    • cancels on you;
    • stops replying to you for 14 days, or for 3 working days in the 60 days before your wedding, after you have told us;
    • closes her business or becomes insolvent;
    • does not turn up to run your wedding day; or
    • is removed by EverVows for cause, and you choose to move to another planner.

    3. What we do

    1. We take over. With your permission, we confirm your bookings and payments with your venue and vendors.
    2. We find you a new planner and brief her on everything done so far.
    3. If a new planner takes over, you pay her only what was left on your original contract. If our record shows you paid your first planner for work she never did, we pay your new planner for that work, up to the commission EverVows earned on your wedding, so you do not pay for it twice.
    4. If no planner can take over within 14 days of your claim, or your planner fails you on the wedding day itself, we:
      • pay you the commission EverVows earned on your wedding (20% of the planning fee in your contract), within 14 days; and
      • give you our dated record of what you paid, what each payment covered and what was done, to support your refund claim against your planner or a dispute with your card provider.

    4. How we keep the record

    When you sign, we record your planner's payment schedule and what each payment covers. As your planning moves, we note each piece of work as it is done, from what we see on your emails and at our check-ins. You can send us your own evidence at any time (messages, receipts, vendor confirmations) and we add it to the record. We share the record with you whenever you ask. If your planner leaves, it shows what you paid for and did not receive, and what your new planner needs to finish. Disagreements about quality are not covered.

    5. What it does not cover

    • You cancelling or postponing your wedding.
    • Problems caused by your venue or vendors themselves.
    • Weather, flights, visas, or your or your guests' health.
    • Disagreements about style or taste.
    • Vendor money your planner collected and did not pass on. We still give you our record to support your claim.
    • Planning fees you paid your planner, beyond what is set out in section 3. Your planner owes you those under your contract with her.
    • If your planner stops working with you but settles with you under her own contract, steps 3 and 4 of section 3 do not apply. We still help you find a new planner.

    6. How to claim

    Email hello@evervows.world or message us on WhatsApp, any time up to 30 days after your wedding date. Send your planner's contract and your payment receipts if we do not already hold them. We reply within 24 hours.

    7. Whose promise it is

    This is EverVows' promise, not your planner's. It is a service we provide to couples we introduce. It is not insurance, and we do not pay for losses beyond what is set out in section 3. It does not reduce any rights you have under your contract with your planner or under the law, including your card provider's dispute rights.

    8. Changes to these terms

    If we change these terms, the version in place on the day you signed your planner's contract is the one that applies to you.
