    A destination wedding in China.

Guilin's karst peaks and the Li River down to Yangshuo, planned by Sunny, who is based in Guilin.

A real planner, not a search engine. This isn't a venue finder — it's the brief Sunny works from. Answer it and she has your whole wedding on one page: the table count, the season, the budget, the legal paperwork, and the things that would quietly ruin the day. She reads every one herself, and we set up your call with her.

A Guilin and Yangshuo wedding, planned from Guilin

EverVows plans weddings in China with one vetted planner: Sunny, based in Guilin. She has planned weddings for 12 years, 10 of them under her own brand, and also plans in Lijiang. Starting costs nothing. Send the brief above and we book you a free call with her. Nothing is sold on the call.

Why Guilin suits a family guest list. Guilin sits at 153 metres, roughly 2,250 metres lower than Lijiang, so nobody needs to acclimatise. Guests fly into Hong Kong and take the direct high-speed train from West Kowloon to Guilin West, about three hours. The riverside lawns are out toward Yangshuo, about an hour and a half south.

What it costs. On a real 2026 quotation for 50 guests near Yangshuo, the total was ¥270,440, and 55% of it was hotel rooms.

The legal part. Since 1 April 2019, two foreign citizens cannot register a marriage in China. Most couples register at home and hold the wedding in Guilin.
